Ingredients:
2 can(13-?ounces each)
-pineapple Chunks, drained
-or 2 cn (20 ounces each)
-crushed Pineapple, drained
2/3 cupPacked brown sugar
1/2 cupAll-purpose flour*
1/2 cupOats
1/3 cupMargarine or butter
-softened
3/4 tspGround cinnamon
3/4 tspGround nutmeg
Procedures:
1*self-rising flour can be used in this recipe.
2During world war ii when food rationing was in effect, this patriotic.
3Heat oven to 375 degrees.
4Grease square pan, 8 x 8 x 2 inches.
5Arrange pineapple in pan.
6Mix remaining ingredients.
7Sprinkle over pineapple.
8Bake about 30 minutes or until topping is golden brown and pineapple is tender.
9Serve warm and, if desired, with cream or ice cream.
