Plum port wine sorbet - gross

Ingredients:
3/4 cupWater
1/2 cupGranulated sugar
1/2 lbsPlums, ripe, red, peel, pit
Cut into chunks
1 cupRaspberries
3/4 cupPort wine
Mint, for garnish
Raspberries, for garnish
Procedures:
1In a small saucepan over high heat, bring water and sugar to a boil; cook until sugar is dissolved.
2Set aside.
3in a food processor or blender, puree plums, raspberried, port wine, and cooled sugar mixture until smooth.
4Pour into 8- by 8-inch baking dish.
5Freeze at least 8 hours or until firm.
6to serve, scoop sorbet into wine or champagne glasses.
7Garnish with mint sprigs and raspberries.
