Ingredients:
1/2 lbsLean ground beef
1/2 cupOnion, chopped
1/4 cupGreen pepper, chopped
3 cupTomato juice, Hunt's No Salt
1 1/2 cupRaw macaroni
1/4 tspGarlic powder
1/4 tspPepper
1/4 tspChili powder
Procedures:
1Add macaroni to boiling water and cook for 7 minutes.
2Cook the first 3 ingredients in cast-iron skillet until meat is brown and vegetables are tender.
3Drain off fat.
4Add tomato juice, macaroni, and spices.
5Simmer until liquid is almost absorbed.
6Note: served with a salad, this makes a delicious meal.
