Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbsBoneless beef chuck
16 ozRefrigerated sauerkraut or
1 can(1 lb)
1/2 tspCaraway seeds
1 Bay leaf
1/4 tspCracked black pepper
3/4 cupPlus
2 tbspDark brown sugar
1 medOnion, sliced
1 Tart apple, sliced
1 canStewedtomatoes (14 ?oz.)
1 1/2 tbspInstant blending flour
Procedures:
1Trim excess fat from meat.
2Cut into 1-inch cubes.
3Place meat in microsafe dish.
4Cover.
5Microwave at high (100%) power for 5 minutes.
6Drain sauerkraut well in sieve, pressing with spoon to remove excess liquid.
7Spread sauerkraut over beef.
8Sprinkle with caraway seeds.
9Add bay leaf and pepper.
10Sprinkle with brown sugar.
11Add onion and apple.
12Pour tomatoes over all.
13Cover.
14Microwave @ medium
15Sprinkle with instant blending flour.
16Stir.
17Cover.
18Microwave at high power for 2 minutes. stir. serve
