Mom's shepherd's pie

Ingredients:
Lamb, leftover, cubed
Onion, chopped
Bell pepper, chopped
1 tbspCornstarch, softened in
3/4 cupWater, cold
Rosemary
Parsley, fresh
Potatoes, mashed
Butter
Procedures:
1In deep skillet, saute lamb trimmed of fat and cut into ?inch cubes.
2Add onion and pepper, saute.
3Add not quite enough water to cover what"s in skillet.
4Soften cornstarch in cold water.
5Add with seasonings and turn into casserole.
6Top with about ?inch of mashed potatoes; dot with butter.
7(might dust top with paprika and/or parmesan).
8Bake at 400 °F.
9Till toasted, about 30 minutes
