Ingredients:
1 lbsBeef round tip steaks
- cut 1/8 to ?inch thick
3 cupPackaged coleslaw mix
2/3 cupSliced green onions
1 tbspConstarch, dissolved in...
1/4 cupWater
8 Flour tortillas
-- (8" diameter), warmed
1/3 cupHoisin sauce
MARINADE
2 tbspReduced-sodium soy sauce
2 tbspWater
1 tbspDark seasame oil
2 Garlic cloves, crushed
2 tspSugar
Procedures:
1Cut steaks lengthwise in half and then crosswise into thin strips.
2In medium bowl, combine marinade ingredients; add beef, tossing to coat.
3Cover and marinate in refrigerator 20 minutes.
4Remove beef from marinade; discard marinade.
5Heat large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
6Add beef (?at a time) and stir-fry 1 to 2 minutes or until outside surface is no longer pink (do not overcook).
7Add coleslaw mix, green onions and cornstarch mixture.
8Cook and stir until sauce is thickened and bubbly.
94.to assemble, spread one side of each tortilla with 2 teaspoons hoisin sauce.
10Spoon about ?cup beef mixture in center of each tortilla.
11Fold bottom edge up over filling.
12Fold right and left sides to center, overlapping edges.
13Makes 4 servings.
