Ingredients:
1 medOnion, chopped
2 Cl Garlic, minced
2 tbspButter, melted
1 largeCan whole tomatos (14 ½oz
8 ozTomato paste
1/2 cupCelery, chopped
1/3 cupVinegar
1/4 cupGreen pepper, chopped
2 Fresh celery leaves, chopped
1 Bay leaf
3 tbspMolasses
1 1/2 tspSalt
2 tspDry mustard
2 tspTabasco sauce, to taste
1/2 tspClove, ground
1/2 tspAllspice, ground
2 sliceLemon
Procedures:
1Saute onion and garlic in butter in a saucepan until tender.
2Stir in remaining ingredients; bring to boil.
3Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes; stir occasionally.
4Discard bay leaf and lemon slices.
5Process through a food processer if desired.
6Use sauce for basting and as a side dish for dipping.
