Ingredients:

| lbs | Chicken, cut-up | | 1/3
| cup | Flour | | 2
| tsp | Salt | | 1/3
| cup | Oil | | 1/2
| cup | Onion, diced | | 1/2
| cup | Celery, diced | | 1/2
| cup | Green bell pepper, diced | | 1
| cup | Catsup | | 1
| cup | COCA-COLA CLASSIC | | 2
| tbsp | Worcestershire sauce | | 1
| tbsp | Salt | | 1/2
| tsp | Salt, hickory smoked | | 1/2
| tsp | Basil leaves | | 1/2
| tsp | Chili powder | | 1/8
| tsp | Pepper |

Procedures:
| 1 | Rinse the chicken and pat dry. | | 2 | In a bowl, mix the flour and 2 teaspoons of salt. | | 3 | Coat the pieces with the flour mixture. | | 4 | In a skillet, heat the oil. | | 5 | Brown the chicken all sides. | | 6 | Remove the browned chicken and place in a 3 quart casserole. | | 7 | Discard the drippings. | | 8 | In a bowl, combine the remaining ingredients, mixing well. | | 9 | Spoon sauce over the chicken, making sure that all pieces are covered. | | 10 | Cover casserole. | | 11 | Bake in a preheated, 350 °F oven for about 1-?hours, or until chicken is fork-tender. | | 12 | If desired, serve the chicken with the sauce over hot rice. | | 13 | Makes 4 to 6 servings with about 3 cups of sauce |
