Chicken and herb dumplings

Ingredients:
3 lbsChicken, cut up
1 tspSalt
1/4 tspPepper
2 Whole Cloves
10 smallWhite onions
1 Clove Garlic, minced
1/4 tspPowdered Marjoram
1/4 tspPowdered Thyme
1 Bay Leaf
1/2 cupDry White Wine
1 cupDairy Sour Cream
1 cupPackaged Biscuit Mix
1 tspChopped Parsley
6 tbspMilk
Procedures:
1Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper; place in crock-pot.
2Insert cloves in one onion.
3Put all onions in the pot.
4Add garlic, marjoram, thyme, bay leaf, and wine.
5Cover and cook on low 5 to 6 hours.
6Remove bay leaf and cloves.
7Stir in the sour cream.
8Turn control to high.
9Combine biscuit mix with parsley; stir milk into the biscuit mix with a fork until well moistened.
10Drop dumplings from a teaspoon around the edge of the pot.
11Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes.
