| lbs | Chicken, cut up | | 1
| tsp | Salt | | 1/4
| tsp | Pepper | | 2
| | Whole Cloves | | 10
| small | White onions | | 1
| | Clove Garlic, minced | | 1/4
| tsp | Powdered Marjoram | | 1/4
| tsp | Powdered Thyme | | 1
| | Bay Leaf | | 1/2
| cup | Dry White Wine | | 1
| cup | Dairy Sour Cream | | 1
| cup | Packaged Biscuit Mix | | 1
| tsp | Chopped Parsley | | 6
| tbsp | Milk |

Procedures:
| 1 | Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper; place in crock-pot. | | 2 | Insert cloves in one onion. | | 3 | Put all onions in the pot. | | 4 | Add garlic, marjoram, thyme, bay leaf, and wine. | | 5 | Cover and cook on low 5 to 6 hours. | | 6 | Remove bay leaf and cloves. | | 7 | Stir in the sour cream. | | 8 | Turn control to high. | | 9 | Combine biscuit mix with parsley; stir milk into the biscuit mix with a fork until well moistened. | | 10 | Drop dumplings from a teaspoon around the edge of the pot. | | 11 | Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes. | | 12 | Makes 5 servings. |
