Ingredients:

| lbs | Roasting chicken pieces | | | -rinsed, patted dry | | 6
| tbsp | Chicken broth | | 1
| tbsp | Cornstarch | | 2
| tbsp | Water, cold | | 1/4
| cup | Lemon juice | | 2
| tsp | Dried oregano | | 1
| tsp | Dried rosemary | | 2
| | Sprigs dried sage | | 2
| cl | Garlic, peeled, finely chopd | | 1
| tbsp | Creole spice | | | -OR | | 1
| tbsp | Chili powder |

Procedures:
| 1 | In a small saucepan, mix broth, cornstarch, and water. | | 2 | Heat over med. heat, stirring until liquid thickens, about 2 to 3 mins. | | 3 | Remove from heat; cool. | | 4 | As broth is cooling, stir in remaining ingredients except chicken. | | 5 | Place chicken pieces in a plastic bag; pour mixture over it. | | 6 | Seal; let marinate in frig at least 2 hrs., turning at least 4 times. | | 7 | Before serving, preheat broiler. | | 8 | Place chicken pieces, skin side down, on broiler rack. | | 9 | Broil chicken for 15 mins., turn pieces over. | | 10 | Continue broiling for 20 mins. | | 11 | Or until skin is golden. | | 12 | Remove from broiler and serve. |
