Marinated broiled chicken

Ingredients:
3 1/2 lbsRoasting chicken pieces
-rinsed, patted dry
6 tbspChicken broth
1 tbspCornstarch
2 tbspWater, cold
1/4 cupLemon juice
2 tspDried oregano
1 tspDried rosemary
2 Sprigs dried sage
2 clGarlic, peeled, finely chopd
1 tbspCreole spice
-OR
1 tbspChili powder
Procedures:
1In a small saucepan, mix broth, cornstarch, and water.
2Heat over med. heat, stirring until liquid thickens, about 2 to 3 mins.
3Remove from heat; cool.
4As broth is cooling, stir in remaining ingredients except chicken.
5Place chicken pieces in a plastic bag; pour mixture over it.
6Seal; let marinate in frig at least 2 hrs., turning at least 4 times.
7Before serving, preheat broiler.
8Place chicken pieces, skin side down, on broiler rack.
9Broil chicken for 15 mins., turn pieces over.
10Continue broiling for 20 mins.
11Or until skin is golden.
12Remove from broiler and serve.
