Ingredients:
1 cupDried Navy Beans
2 quartWater
1 cupChopped Onion
1 cupChopped Green Pepper
1 cupChopped Carrots
1 1/2 tspDried Basil
1 tspSalt
1 1/2 tspOregano
1/4 tspDry Mustard
2 clGarlic Minched
3 can(8 Oz.) Tomato Sauce
1/2 cupUncooked Whole Wheat
Elbow Macaroni
Procedures:
1Sort & wash beans; place in a dutch oven.
2Cover with water 2 inches above beans.
3Bring to a boil.
4Cook over high heat 2 min. cover & let stand 1 hour.
5Drain beans.
6Add 2 quarts water & all ingredients except macaroni.
7Cover & & simmer 1 ?hours or until beans are tender, stirring occasionally.
8Add macaroni & cook uncovered 10 min. or until macaroni is tender.
