Ingredients:
1 cupLentil ham soup
1 clGarlic, minced
2 Celery, sliced
1/2 cupOnion, chopped
1 tbspMargarine
1 cupCarrot, grated
2 cupPotato, coarsely chopped
6 cupWater
1 cupTomato juice
1 tspSalt
1 tspThyme
1 tbspSoy sauce
1/3 cupBrown rice
1 1/2 cupFrozen corn
Procedures:
1In a large pot, saute garlic, celery, and onion in margarine until te= nder.
2Stir in carrot and potatoes.
3Drain water from lentils and add lentils to vegetables.
4Add water, tomato juice, salt, thyme, soy sauce, and brown rice.
5Brin= g to a boil.
6Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until lentils and potatoe= s are tender (about 30 minutes).
7Add corn and cook 10 to 20 minutes more.
