Ingredients:
1 lbsDried lentils, washed, picke
2 quartWater
2 Celery stalks, chopped
1 medOnion, chopped
2 Carrots, chopped
1 Cl Garlic, minced
1 Bay leaf
1/4 tspThyme
1/2 cupRed wine
1 canPlum tomatoes
Procedures:
1Recipe by: elizabeth powell preparation time: 2:00 in a large soup kettle, combine all ingredients except wine and tomatoes.
2Bring to a boil and simmer, over low heat for 1-?hours.
3Add wine and tomatoes and simmer 20-30 minutes more.
