Ingredients:
1 Meaty turkey carcus
32 ozCanned tomatoes, undrained
1/3 cupBarley
2 cupChopped celery
5 Carrots, chopped
2 Onions, cut up
2 tbspParsley
Procedures:
1Cover turkey bones with water in a large pot.
2Season with salt and pepper to taste.
3Bring to a boil and simmer 3 hrs.
4Strain the broth and save the meat.
5Add tomatoes and barley.
6Simmer 2 hrs.
7Add vegetables and parsley.
8Simmer ?to 1 hr.
9Longer till vegetables are cooked.
10Add meat and heat.
11*** ** although this soup takes a long time to cook, it"s worth it! for a richer flavor, crack the large turkey bones before cooking them.
