Ingredients:
6 ozSlice Fully Cooked Ham *
2 ea Stalks Celery **
11 ozMandarin Orange Sections ***
1 tspCornstarch
1/8 tspGround Ginger
Procedures:
1* slice of ham should be cut into ?inch chunks.
2** celery should be cut into ?inch chunks on a slant cut (bias) *** mandarin oranges should contain pineapple also.
3If they do not, you may add your own pineapple or leave it out.
4~--------------------------------------------------------------------- ~-- in a 1 ?quart casserole micro-cook ham, celery, 1 t water, covered, on 100% power for 3 to 4 minutes or till heated through.
5Drain orange sections with pineapple, reserving 1/3 cup liquid.
6In a 1-cup measure stir together cornstarch and cinnamon.
7Stir into reserved liquid.
8Micro-cook, uncovered, on 100% power for 1 to 1 ?minutes or till thickened and bubbly, stirring every 30 seconds.
9Drain liquid off ham and celery mixture.
10Stir in thickened mixture.
11Stir in orange sections with pineapple.
12Micro-cook, uncovered, on 100% power about 1 ?minutes or till heated through.
13Serve with hot cooked rice, if desired
