Ingredients:
1/4 cupSoy sauce
2 tspCornstarch
1 tspSugar
1/2 tspGinger
1 lbsFlank steak, trimmed
-- cut in 2" x 1/8" strips
3 tbspVegetable oil
1 medGreen pepper
-- cut into thin strips
20 ozPineapple chunks, drained
3 cupCooked rice
Procedures:
1Mix soy sauce, cornstarch, sugar, and ginger.
2Coat meat with soy sauce mixture.
3Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large frypan.
4Add green pepper strips.
5Cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
6Remove green pepper from pan.
7Heat remaining 2 tablespoons oil.
8Add meat.
9Cook for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until beef is lightly browned.
10Add green pepper and pineapple.
11Heat through.
12Serve over rice.
13Note: steak is easier to cut when partially frozen.
