Ingredients:

| cup | Soy sauce | | 2
| tsp | Cornstarch | | 1
| tsp | Sugar | | 1/2
| tsp | Ginger | | 1
| lbs | Flank steak, trimmed | | | -- cut in 2" x 1/8" strips | | 3
| tbsp | Vegetable oil | | 1
| med | Green pepper | | | -- cut into thin strips | | 20
| oz | Pineapple chunks, drained | | 3
| cup | Cooked rice |

Procedures:
| 1 | Mix soy sauce, cornstarch, sugar, and ginger. | | 2 | Coat meat with soy sauce mixture. | | 3 | Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large frypan. | | 4 | Add green pepper strips. | | 5 | Cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. | | 6 | Remove green pepper from pan. | | 7 | Heat remaining 2 tablespoons oil. | | 8 | Add meat. | | 9 | Cook for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until beef is lightly browned. | | 10 | Add green pepper and pineapple. | | 11 | Heat through. | | 12 | Serve over rice. | | 13 | Note: steak is easier to cut when partially frozen. | | 14 | Calories per ?cup serving: about 355 with rice |
