Mexican beef casserole

Ingredients:
2 lbsGround beef
1 largeOnion, chopped
1 canCream corn
1/2 tspSalt
2 Eggs, beaten
1/3 cupOil
1 packCheddar cheese 8 oz.
4 Hot chili peppers
1 cupCornmeal
1 tspSoda
1 cupButtermilk
Procedures:
1Brown beef; add onions, peppers and cheese.
2Sift together meal, salt and soda.
3Combine sifted mixture with beaten eggs, buttermilk, oil and corn.
4Pour half of the bread mixture in a deep greased skillet or casserole dish.
5Add meat mixture and top with remaining bread mixture.
6Bake at 350 °F for 45 minutes.
