Pam's rice (side dish)

Ingredients:
1/4 cupButter
1/2 tspThyme
3/4 cupChopped onion
1/2 tspPepper
1 cupChopped celery
1/2 tspFinnes herbs
1 cupUncooked long-grain rice
1 tspSalt
1 Envelope Lipton chicken
-noodle soup mix
2 1/2 cupWater
Procedures:
1Brown celery, onion, and rice in butter (15-20 min) on med heat.
2Stir in all other ingredients (can keep in frying pan if enough room or use a sauce pan), cover, simmer 15 min or until moisture is soaked up.
3Remove from heat, toss with spoon, cover and let stand 5-10 min
