| cup | Unsifted all purpose flour | | 1/2
| cup | Light brown sugar | | 1
| tbsp | Baking powder | | 1/2
| tsp | Salt | | 1/2
| tsp | Ground cinnamon | | 1/4
| tsp | Ground nutmeg | | 1/4
| cup | (?stick) butter or | | | -margarine | | 1
| cup | Thick applesauce | | 1/4
| cup | Milk | | 1
| large | Egg | | 1/2
| cup | Dark seedless raisins. |

Procedures:
| 1 | From: pat stockett | | 2 | wenatchee applesauce muffins | | 3 | heat oven to 42Grease 12 muffin cups. | | 4 | In a bowl, combine dry ingredients and blend. | | 5 | Melt butter in a saucepan. | | 6 | Remove from heat; stir in applesauce and milk. | | 7 | Beat in egg. | | 8 | stir in applesauce mixture into dry ingredients and, when well blended, stir in raisins. | | 9 | bake 15 to 20 minutes. | | 10 | Let stand 5 minutes before removing muffins from tin. |
