Ingredients:

1 ozMacaroni or spaghetti
1 ozButter
1 ozSugar
1 pintMilk
2 Eggs
1/2 Lemon rind, grated (or other
-flavouring)
Salt
Procedures:
1Serves 3 *directions* break the macaroni or spaghetti into ?inch lengths, put them with a pinch of salt into the milk when boiling, and simmer until tender.
2Add the sugar, butter, lemon-rind, and the well-beaten yolks of the eggs, stir the mixture by the side of the fire for a few minutes, but do not let it boil.
3Lastly, add the stiffly-whisked whites of eggs, then turn the mixture into a greased pie-dish, and bake slowly from 25 to 30 minutes.
4Time: about 1-?hours.
