| x | Apples. peeled and chopped | | 1/2
| cup | Chopped Nuts |

Procedures:
| 1 | Preheat oven to 350 deg f. | | 2 | Cream butter and sugar and beat in egg. | | 3 | Combine flour, baking powder and salt and gradually add to butter and sugar mixture. | | 4 | Gently stir in apples and nuts, and spread in buttered 8"x8" pan. | | 5 | Bake 35 minutes. |
