Ingredients:

| cup | Mashed fresh figs (unpeeled) | | 3
| cup | Sugar | | 1/4
| cup | Lemon juice (optional) | | 3
| pack | Strawberry gelatin | | | - (3 ounces each) |

Procedures:
| 1 | Cook figs, sugar and lemon juice 5 to 7 minutes. | | 2 | Let stand overnight. | | 3 | Stir in gelatin. | | 4 | Boil again 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. | | 5 | Pour quickly into jars and seal at once, or store in refrigerator if used within a month. |
