Ingredients:

| tsp | Baking Soda | | 1
| tsp | Cream of Tarter | | 1/2
| tsp | Salt | | 1
| tbsp | Margarine | | 1
| cup | Buttermilk |

Procedures:
| 1 | Preheat oven to 350°F. | | 2 | Sift dry ingredients. | | 3 | Cut in margarine. | | 4 | Add buttermilk a little at a time to make a stiff dough. | | 5 | Knead for two or three minutes. | | 6 | Roll out to ?inch thick on a floured surface. | | 7 | Cut with a 3-inch biscuit cutter and place on a cookie sheet. | | 8 | Bake 15 minutes. | | 9 | When brown on top, turn and brown the other side. | | 10 | Makes 6 - 8 scones. |
