Ingredients:
2 cupPlain nonfat yogurt
Strainer
Bowl
ORange
1 smallSieve lined with
100 %-cotton cheese cloth
Procedures:
1Place 2 cups plain nonfat yogurt in a yogurt strainer over a bowl.
2(or, use a small sieve lined with a piece of 100-percent-cotton cheesecloth).
3Cover and let drain in the refrigerator for 5 hours or overnight.
4Makes about 1 cup.
5Eating right, living well 1993 this can be used in place of cream cheese for many recipes with the result being much less fat and cholesterol.
