| 1 | Put juice from cherries and ?cup sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan. |
| 2 | Cook until thickened. |
| 3 | Add cherries and butter. |
| 4 | Pour mixture into shallow 1 quart casserole. |
| 5 | Blend mix and 1 tablespoon sugar. |
| 6 | Add milk to form a soft dough. |
| 7 | Drop by spoonfuls onto the heated fruit mixture. |
| 8 | Bake 15 to 20 minutes in a 425°F. oven. |
| 9 | Serve warm with topping or whipped cream. |
