Ingredients:

| cup | Sugar (sweetners do not work | | 1
| tsp | Almond extract | | 1/4
| cup | Wheat germ |

Procedures:
| 1 | Preheat oven to 325°F. | | 2 | In a deep bowl, beat egg whites on low speed of an electric mixer until frothy. | | 3 | Beat on high speed until stiff. | | 4 | Gradually beat in sugar and then almond extract.fold in wheat germ. | | 5 | Drop mixture by ?teaspoonsful onto a cookie sheet that had been sprayed with a nonstick cooking spray and dusted lightly with flour. | | 6 | Put the cookies in the oven and immediately reduce the temperature to 200°F. | | 7 | Bake 1 hour. | | 8 | Turn off heat, and leave cookies in oven to cool. | | 9 | Makes 10 servings, 5 cookies each |
