Ingredients:
3 2/3 cupFlour
1/2 cupSugar
1 1/2 tbspBaking powder
1 tspSalt
1/2 cupButter
2 Eggs
3/4 cupWhole milk
3/4 cupRaisins
1/3 cupHoney
Procedures:
1Preheat the oven to 425°F.
2Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
3Mix well.
4Cut the butter into the flour mixture with a pastry blender until the mixture resembles coarse cornmeal.
5Add the eggs, milk and raisings.
6Stir quickly with a fork until the dough leaves the sides of the bowl and forms a ball.
7Spoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet to form the desired number of scones.
8Leave at least 1" between the scones.
9Bake until golden (about 12-15 minutes).
10Remove to a wire rack, and brush immediately with honey.
11Serve at once with butter, jam and whipped cream
