Maple nut muffins with apples

Ingredients:
1 cupRolled Oats
1 cupApples, coarsely grated
1/2 cupYogurt, plain
1 Egg, beaten
2 tbspOil
1 1/4 cupAll Purpose Flour
2 1/2 tspBaking Powder
1/2 tspBaking Soda
1/2 tspSalt
1/3 cupWalnuts or Pecans, chopped
2/3 cupMaple Syrup
Procedures:
1In a bowl, combine oats, apple, maple syrup, yogurt, egg and oil.
2In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, soda, salt and nuts.
3Stir liquid ingredients into flour mixture until just combined; do not overmix.
4Spoon batter into 12 large paperlined muffin tines.
5Bake in an oven preheated to 400 °F for about 20 minutes or until tops are springy to the touch.
6Let muffins cool on wire rack.
