Ingredients:

| tsp | Nutmeg | | 1/2
| cup | Sugar | | 1/3
| cup | Margarine | | 1
| | Egg, slightly beaten | | 1/4
| cup | Milk | | 10
| oz | Mandarin orange tin, drained | | | TOPPING (optional) | | 1/4
| cup | Melted butter | | 1/4
| cup | Sugar | | 1/2
| tsp | Cinnamon |

Procedures:
| 1 | Note: tin of broken segments is less expensive than whole segments. | | 2 | About a cup of fresh orange pieces could be used. | | 3 | sift flour with other dry ingredients. | | 4 | Cut in margarine. | | 5 | Combine egg and milk, and add all at once to dry ingredients -- mix only until moistened. | | 6 | fold in orange pieces and break them up more if batter seems to dry at first. | | 7 | Fill greased muffin tins ?full. | | 8 | bake at 350f for 20 to 25 minutes. | | 9 | remove from muffin tins while still warm. | | 10 | Dip tops in melted butter and sugar-cinnamon mixture. | | 11 | Makes 12 large muffins. |
