Ingredients:
1 cupSugar.
2 tbspAll-purpose flour.
1 tspCinnamon.
1/8 tspNutmeg.
1/8 tspSalt.
-Juice of 1 lemon.
7 medTart cooking
-apples, pared, cored and
-thinly sliced.
3 tbspButter or margarine.
-Kitchenaid pie pastry for
-double crust 9-inch pie.
Procedures:
1Instructions:combine sugar,flour,cinnamon,nutmeg,lemon juice and salt;mix with apples.
2Divide pastry in half.roll to 1/8 inch thickness and line a 9-inchpie plate.fill with apple mixture and dot with butter.roll outremaining crust and place on pie.cut slits for steam to escapeand seal edges.sprinkle with sugar lightly.
3Bake at 400°F for 50 minutes.
