Ingredients:

| cup | Fresh garlic, coarsely | | | Chopped | | 1
| cup | Onions, thinly sliced | | 1/4
| cup | Plus 2 tbsp. butter | | 2
| cup | Flour | | 2
| tbsp | Baking powder | | 1
| tbsp | Salt | | 2
| tbsp | Finely chopped parsley | | 1
| tbsp | Dill | | 1
| cup | Milk | | 1/2
| cup | Sharp cheddar cheese |

Procedures:
| 1 | Preheat oven to 450 degrees. | | 2 | Gently saute garlic and onions in 2 tablespoons butter about 10 minutes until tender, but not brown. | | 3 | Sift flour, baking powder and salt into mixing bowl. | | 4 | Cut in ?cup butter until mixuture is crumbly like cornmeal. | | 5 | Add parsley, dill and milk; stir just until evenly moist. | | 6 | Pour into well-greased 8 x 8-inch pan. | | 7 | Spread garlic and onions on top, then cover with cheese. | | 8 | Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. | | 9 | Cool slightly and cut into squares |
