| cup | Vegetable broth | | | Salt | | | Pepper | | 1

Procedures:
| 1 | Recipe by: from my garden show # f5538 in larger saucepan melt butter and add carrots. | | 2 | Gently saute carrots and ginger. | | 3 | Add vegetable broth and cook until carrots are softened, about 25 minutes. | | 4 | Pour mixture into a food processor and puree. | | 5 | Season with salt and pepper and add the juice and zest of the orange. | | 6 | Serve hot or cold. |
