Ingredients:
1 ozCan pitted tart red cherries
1 1/2 cupWater
1/2 cupSugar
1 tbspQuick-cooking tapioca
1/8 tspGround cloves
1/2 cupDry red wine
Procedures:
1In 1 ?quart saucepan stir together undrained cherries, water, sugar, tapioca, and cloves.
2Let stand 5 minutes.
3Bring to boiling.
4Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5Remove from heat; stir in wine.
6Cover and chill, stirring occasionally.
7Makes 6 to 8 servings.
