Ingredients:

| cup | Butter or margarine | | 2/3
| cup | All-purpose flour | | 7
| cup | Milk | | 4
| large | Baking potatoes, baked | | | -cooked, peeled & cubed | | 4
| | Green onions, sliced | | 12
| | Bacon strips, cooked and | | | -crumbled | | 1 1/4
| cup | Shredded cheddar cheese | | 1
| cup | Sour cream | | 3/4
| tsp | Salt | | 1/2
| tsp | Pepper |

Procedures:
| 1 | In a large soup kettle, melt butter. | | 2 | Stir in flour, heat and stir until smooth. | | 3 | Gradually add milk; stirring constantly until thickened. | | 4 | Add potatoes and onion. | | 5 | Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. | | 6 | Reduce heat; simmer for 10 minutes. | | 7 | Add remaining ingredients; stir until cheese is melted. | | 8 | Serve immediately. | | 9 | Yields about 2 ?quarts. |
