Ingredients:
4 ozBacon bits
1 Carrot, thinly sliced
2 Sticks celery, thinly sliced
1 Onion, coarsely chopped
1 Bay leaf
2 Cloves of garlic (or 3)
1 tspPepper
Procedures:
1Fry the bacon in a large pot and remove.
2Add the carrot and celery and cook over medium heat for 2 minutes.
3Add the onion, bay leaf and whole cloves of garlic.
4Stir and add the pepper.
5"all you really need is a big pot and some bacon bits.
6After that, you improvise....
