Basil & cheese dumplings

Ingredients:
1 tbspButter or margarine
1 tbspFresh chives, snipped -OR-
1 tbspGreen onion, sliced
1/2 tspDried basil leaf
1/2 cupCreamed cottage cheese (4oz)
1 cupAll-purpose flour, sifted
1/2 tspSalt
1 tspBaking powder
Procedures:
1Melt butter or margarine in a small skillet.
2Add chives or green onion and basil.
3Cook, stirring constantly, until herbs soften.
4Remove skillet from
5heat.
6Stir in cottrage cheese; set aside.
7Sift together flour, salt and baking powder into a medium bowl.
8Add cottage-cheese mixture.
9Stir until combined.
10Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls into simmering soup.
11Cover soup and simmer until dumpling are firms, about 15 minutes.
