Ingredients:
2 cupChicken broth
2 canWhite beans, rinsed and
-drained (19-ounce cans)
2 tbspPesto sauce
2 tbspGrated Parmesan cheese
Freshly ground black pepper
Procedures:
1Put the broth and beans in a saucepan over moderate heat and bring to a boil.
2Reduce heat to low and stir in the remaining ingredients.
3Simmer for about 1 minute.
4makes four 1-cup servings.
