Ingredients:

| cup | Chopped onions | | 1
| cup | Chopped peppers | | 1/2
| cup | Chopped carrots | | 1/2
| cup | Chopped celery | | 1
| cup | Bread crumbs | | 28
| oz | Can Italian plum tomatoes | | | -chopped | | 5
| cup | Rich chicken stock | | 1/2
| tsp | Cayenne pepper | | 1/2
| tsp | Curry | | 1/2
| tsp | Black pepper | | 1
| tsp | Salt | | 1
| tbsp | Oregano | | 1
| tbsp | Thyme | | 1/2
| | Olive oil | | 1
| cup | Heavy cream | | 1
| cup | Flour | | 2
| cup | Skim milk |

Procedures:
| 1 | In the olive oil, saute onions, garlic, celery and carrots until soft. | | 2 | Stir in flour and mix thoroughly. | | 3 | Cook 5 minutes while stirring. | | 4 | Do let not burn. | | 5 | Add tomatoes, breadcrumbs and stock. | | 6 | Bring to boil. | | 7 | Simmer 15 minutes. | | 8 | Let cool. | | 9 | Slightly. | | 10 | Add cream and or milk while puree"ing through blender. | | 11 | Garnish with finely chopped scallions, and serve very hot. |
