| tbsp | Baking soda | | 1/2
| tbsp | Salt |

Procedures:
| 1 | Measure bran, banana, applesauce and sugar in a large bowl. | | 2 | Add the water and stir. | | 3 | In another bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, and salt (or don"t sift it -- stirring it well with a fork works also). | | 4 | Add this to the banana mixture, stirring only until combined. | | 5 | Pour into bread pan and stick in the oven. | | 6 | Bake at 350°F for about 45 min. this makes one loaf. |
