Winter squash and fruit

Ingredients:
2 cupPeeled winter squash
1 largeYam
1/2 cupDried fruit
1 Apple
1 Pear
1 Banana
1/2 cupCider
1 tspCinnamon
1/2 tspAllspice
Pn Grated lemon and orange
Peel
Nonstick cooking spray
(optional)
Procedures:
1Cut vegetables and fruit into small pieces.
2Mix with cider and spices.
3Spray ovenproof container with nonstick cooking spray.
4Put vegetables and fruit into it and cover.
5Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes.
6Remove cover and add more cider if necessary.
7You need enough liquid to keep it from burning, but not too much.
8Bake for at least 45 minutes more.
9The longer you bake it, the more the flavors blend.
10I baked it for 1 ?hours more at 325 degrees.
11This comes out so sweet it could be either an accompaniment for a meal or a dessert.
