Deep fried tofu with plum sauce

Ingredients:
1 lbsFirm tofu
1/2 cupSesame seeds
2 tbspCornstarch
3 tbspWhole-wheat flour
1/4 cupVegetable oil
1 1/2 lbsRed plums, pitted, peeled &
-- chopped
3/4 cupSugar
1 tbspSoy sauce
1 tbspTeriyaki sauce
2 ea Garlic cloves, chopped
Water to cover
Procedures:
1Cut tofu into 1" squares.
2Mix together sesame seeds, cornstarch & flour.
3Roll tofu in sesame mixture till well coated.
4Heat oil in skillet till hot.
5Fry squares till well browned.
6Drain on paper towels & set aside.
7Place the rest of the ingredients in a pot.
8Add just enough water to cover by ?.
9Bring to a boil then simmer for 20 minutes.
10Blend till smooth.
11Pour into a serving bowl.
12To serve, place toothpicks in tofu cubes.
13Arrange on a platter & serve warm with the sauce.
