Double chocolate drops

Ingredients:
1 3/4 cupAll-purpose flour
3/4 cupSugar
1/2 cupMilk
1/2 cupButter or margarine
-softened
1 tspVanilla extract
1/2 tspSalt
1/2 tspBaking soda
1 Egg
2 Squares unsweetened
-chocolate, melted
Chocolate Butter-Cream
-Frosting (below)
1 cupPecan halves
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 400 °F.
2Into large bowl, measure all ingredients except frosting and pecans; with mixer at low speed, beat until blended, scraping bowl constantly with rubber spatula.
3Increase mixer speed to medium; beat 3 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally, until well blended.
4drop batter by heaping teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets, about 1 inch apart.
5Bake 8 to 10 minutes until cookies are puffy and slightly cracked on top.
6Cool.
7Top cookies with frosting; garnish with pecans.
8Makes 48 cookies.
