| | Squares unsweetened | | | -chocolate, melted | | | Chocolate Butter-Cream | | | -Frosting (below) | | 1

Procedures:
| 1 | Preheat oven to 400 °F. | | 2 | Into large bowl, measure all ingredients except frosting and pecans; with mixer at low speed, beat until blended, scraping bowl constantly with rubber spatula. | | 3 | Increase mixer speed to medium; beat 3 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally, until well blended. | | 4 | drop batter by heaping teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets, about 1 inch apart. | | 5 | Bake 8 to 10 minutes until cookies are puffy and slightly cracked on top. | | 6 | Cool. | | 7 | Top cookies with frosting; garnish with pecans. | | 8 | Makes 48 cookies. |
