Ingredients:
1 cupButter -- softened
1 cupBrown sugar, packed
1/2 cupGranulated sugar
3 Eggs
2 tspVanilla
2 cupAll-purpose flour
2 cupQuick-cooking rolled oats
1 tspBaking soda
1/4 tspSalt
2 cupRaisins
375 gramsBittersweet chocolate -- cut
Into chunks
175 gramsChopped pecans -- (about
1 ?cups)
Procedures:
1In a large bowl, beat together butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
2Beat in eggs, one at a time, until smooth.
3Add vanilla.
4(in food processor, combine butter, brown and granulated sugars in work bowl; process until light and fluffy.
5Add aggs and vanilla; process until smooth, scraping down sides).
6in separate bowl, combine flour, oats, baking soda and salt.
7Stir into butter mixture to form sticky dough.
8Stir in raisins, chocolate chunks and pecans.
9(add dry ingredients to butter mixture in food processor; pulse with on/off motion just until mixture forms a soft ball.
10Transfer to bowl; stir in raisins, chocolate and pecans).
11drop mixture by tablespoons onto greased baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
12Bake in preheated 375f oven about 10 to 12 minutes or until golden.
13Partially cool on baking sheet before lifting on to rack to cool completely.
