Gary's chocolate pudding

Ingredients:
2 cupMilk
2 1/2 tbspCornstarch
2/3 cupSugar
3 ozChocolate, unsw. baking
1 tspVanilla extract
1 tbspOil or Butter
Procedures:
1Place water into the bottom part of a double boiler.
2Place on stove on high heat.
3mix dry ingredients.
4Place into top of double boiler.
5shave or grate baking chocolate.
6Add to double boiler.
7Pour in milk.
8Add oil or butter.
9Mix thoroughly.
10place top of double boiler into bottom of double boiler.
11Heat mixture while stirring constantly until water in double boiler returns to a boil and mixture is sufficiently thickened.
12Cover and continue heating for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
13take off heat and stir in vanilla extract.
14Pour into dish(es) or mold and chill thoroughly.
15*note* increase or decrease the amount of cornstarch depending on your own preference for the thickness.
16If a molded pudding is desired, increase cornstarch to about 3 ?tb. if you are making my recipe for chocolate cream pie, increase cornstarch to about 4 ?tb. gary fackenthall
