Ingredients:

| pack | HERSHEY'S HUGS or HUGS WITH | | | -ALMONDS chocolates (8 oz) | | 1
| cup | Butter or margarine | | | -softened (2 sticks) | | 1/2
| cup | Powdered sugar | | 1
| tbsp | Vanilla extract | | 2 1/4
| cup | All-purpose flour | | 1/4
| tbsp | Salt | | 3/4
| cup | Toasted almonds, finely | | | -ground (see note) | | | Additional powdered sugar |

Procedures:
| 1 | Heat oven to 400°F. | | 2 | Remove wrappers from chocolate pieces. | | 3 | In large mixer bowl, beat butter, powdered sugar amd vanilla until well blended. | | 4 | Stir together flour and salt; gradually add to butter mixture, beating until well blended. | | 5 | Add nuts; blend well. | | 6 | Mold scant tablespoon dough around each chocolate piece, covering completely. | | 7 | Shape into balls. | | 8 | Place on ungreased cookie sheet. | | 9 | Bake 10-12 minutes or until set. | | 10 | Cool slightly; roll in powdered sugar. | | 11 | Cool completely. | | 12 | Before serving, roll again in powdered sugar, if desired. | | 13 | note: to toast almonds, heat oven to 350°F. | | 14 | Spread almonds in thin layer in shallow baking pan. | | 15 | Bake 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until light golden brown; cool. |
