| tsp | Salt | | 1/2
| cup | Shortening | | 1/2
| cup | Honey | | 1
| | Egg | | 1/2
| tsp | Vanilla | | 1/4
| cup | Chopped Nuts | | 1/2
| cup | Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips |

Procedures:
| 1 | Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. | | 2 | Cream shortening and honey; beat in egg; add vanilla and sifted dry ingredients. | | 3 | Fold in nuts and chocolate chips. | | 4 | Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. | | 5 | Bake at 375°F for 10 to 12 minutes. | | 6 | About 3 dozen cookies. |
