Ingredients:
1/2 cupButter (1 stick)
1 cupSugar
1 canChoc Syrup--1 lb
4 Eggs
1 cupFlour
1 cupNuts, chopped opt.
ICING RECEIPE ALSO
Procedures:
1Cream together butter and sugar till fluffy.
2Beat in syrup, then eggs one at a time.
3Beat in flour gradually.
4Fold in nuts (optional).
5Pour into greased cake pan (i use abt 9x13 pan).
6They do not rise much.
7Bake at 350 degrees about 30-40 mins.

9Receipe calls for jelly roll pan-- that is 15x10.
10Cooking time is 25 mins for this size.
11Pan will be full but they do not rise.
12Frost with the frosting for iowa brownies receipe to follow.

15This is more of a "cake" than a brownie.
