| 1 | In electric skillet, melt butter. |
| 2 | Add sugar, almonds and water. |
| 3 | Place candy thermometer into mix. |
| 4 | Temperature of skillet should be about 400 degrees. |
| 5 | Cook, stirring constantly to hard/crack stage on thermometer. |
| 6 | Pour mix quickly onto a large jelly roll sheet (large cookie sheet with sides). |
| 7 | Spread very quickly. |
| 8 | Cool in refrigerator. |
| 9 | Melt chocolate chips over double boiler. |
| 10 | Spread over cooled candy and sprinkle walnuts while chocolate is still soft. |
| 11 | Press nuts into chocolate to secure. |
| 12 | Cool again. |
| 13 | Break into pieces and store in an airtight container |
