Ingredients:

| quart | Vinegar | | 2
| quart | Water | | 1
| cup | Salt | | | Dill (to taste) | | | Garlic (to taste) | | 1
| gal | Pickles |

Procedures:
| 1 | Wash cucumbers thoroughly and place them in very hot water. | | 2 | In a large pot boil vinegar, water and salt for 2 minutes. | | 3 | Drain hot water from cucumbers and put in sterile jars with dill and garlic. | | 4 | Pour boiling solution over cucumbers and seal immediately. | | 5 | Open in 3 to 4 weeks |
