Low-fat turkey lasagna sauce

Ingredients:
1 lbsGround turkey
2 tbspVegetable oil
1 Onion -- chopped
2 Garlic cloves -- minced
3 Tomatoes -- peeled and
Chopped
6 ozTomato paste
2 tbspOregano -- chopped
1 tbspFresh basil -- chopped
1 cupRed wine -- dry
Black pepper -- to taste
Procedures:
1Heat oil in heavy skillet with lid; saute onion and garlic for 4-5 minutes until limp.
2Add turkey and cook, breaking up meat, until no pink color remains.
3Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer for 1 hour.
4Add a small amount of water if sauce appears to be getting too dry.
5Let stand 15 minutes before serving over spaghetti
